Nuestro centro de buceo fue el único de la isla que se atrevió a ir al agua. Hicimos una inmersión con corriente, poca visibilidad pero mucha vida. Esta agua no defrauda nunca.
Pero la segunda inmersión fue imposible hacerla. Decidimos abortar la inmersión cuando estábamos en alta mar. La superficie estaba imposible, y hubiera sido una locura ir al agua, era imposible ver a un buzo entre el intenso oleaje.
Mañana es el último día de buceo, así que no podremos hacer 3 inmersiones, ya que deben pasar 24 horas entre la última inmersión y el vuelo a Cancún. Me temo que nos vamos a volver con un sabor agridulce, no hemos podido hacer ni una inmersión en la reserva y hemos perdido la tercera parte de las inmersiones contratadas. Y desde luego, esta isla es para venir a bucear porque apenas hay cosas que hacer…
After a long night with intense winds and strong rain, we thought we could not dive. The responsible, the hurricane arriving today to Cancún (we hope on Friday we could leave from there).
Our diving center was the only one that decided to dive today. We found currents, no visibility, but many life. This water is very grateful.
But the second dive was impossible. We decided to abort the dive when we were on navigation. The surface was impossible, and it would be crazy to dive, because it was impossible to see a diver head on the surface with the intense waving.
Tomorrow is our last day of diving, so we will not be able to do 3 dives. It is needed a period of 24 hours between the last dive and the flight to Cancun. I am afraid that our taste of this trip will not be good, it was impossible to dive on the Marine Reserve, and we lost one third of the acquired dives. And, honestly this island is for diving, because on the surface there are only a few things to do…
