Fin de semana en Cabo de Palos

Este fin de semana hemos estado buceando en Cabo de Palos. Si bien todas las inmersiones las hemos hecho en 2 puntos de la Reserva Nacional de Islas Hormigas, realmente podríamos hacer siempre el mismo punto. Y no me habría defraudado nunca.

Desde el cabo, ya ves grupos de más de 20 meros. Una locura. De hecho, tras revisar las fotos, creo que tengo más de 300 fotos solo de meros y espetones.

Hay tanta vida grande en este punto de buceo, que apenas miras la roca, pero tampoco defrauda, flabelinas, nudibranquios, pulpos, morenas... Repito, una locura.

Ayer perdí mi ordenador de buceo, mi querido Galileo Sol. Creo que descansará en un lugar fabuloso. Y ahora yo, a ahorrar para uno nuevo...

Sorprende que en un punto de buceo, apenas te des cuenta de que estés con más de 40 buzos a la vez. Hasta que miras al cabo a los 40 minutos de bajar, y te encuentras con un rosario de buceadores haciendo la parada.

Voy a tardar en olvidar este fin de semana, mucha belleza para tan poco tiempo... Espero que disfrutéis las fotos.

Junio en Cantabria - June in Cantabria

Este mes, las inmersiones han sido en Cantabria, con el Centro de Buceo Pedreña.

El tiempo ha acompañado a medias, y el mar de fondo no me ha permitido muchas fotos, ahora bien, las paredes de este mar están plagadas de vida, y no te defrauda ninguna inmersión.

Si además ves un tiburón pintarroja, pues ya tienes el dia completo! Lamento las fotos, pero el mar de fondo y la arena no son muy compatibles...

En 20 días volveré a sesiones específicas de nudibranquios, este fin de semana pasado ha sido un auténtico festival. No exagero si os digo que quizás en cada inmersión hemos visto más de 50 nudibranquios. ¿quién da más?
















Last month, dives were on Cantabria, with the Diving Center Pedreña.

Weather has been more or less fine, but movement underwater did not allow to take too many photos, nevertheless walls on this sea are full of life, and you will always be happy with the result.

But if you find a local shark, you have made your day! Sorry for the photos, but the sea strong movement and the sand are not a good mix...

In 20 days I will come back for a nudibranches session, last weekend was a great festival. I can tell you, that in each dive we saw at least 50 of them. Who bet more?

Mayo en Almería - May in Almeria

Desde el viaje a Mar Rojo en Febrero no había buceado. Y en estos tres meses, mi alergia me ha jugado malos momentos. Así que deseaba bucear muchísimo.

La alergia no me permitió disfrutar del agua como yo quería, pero a pesar de que el agua estaba muuuuyy fría, tuvimos unas inmersiones muy tranquilas y con muchas cosas que observar.

Desde luego, fue el fin de semana de los pulpos. Os dejo unas cuantas instantáneas. Espero que las disfrutéis. Gracias por estar ahí!

















Since last trip to the Red Sea in February, I did not dive. In these three months, my alergies have been severe with me. So I really dreaming about diving.

Alergy did not allow me to enjoy the underwater as I wanted, but despite the colllddd water, we had a peaceful dives, with many things to observe.

Anyway, it was the octopus weekend. Here you have some photos. I hope you enjoy them. Thanks for being there!

Peces rana - Frog fishes

Me gustan mucho los peces rana. Podría ser por lo sencillos que son a veces de fotografiar, tienen un andar lento pero seguro por el arrecife, me gusta la cara contrariada que mantienen siempre, como si fueran un viejo cascarrabias, dan la sensación de ser o bien un extraterrestre o bien un animal prehistórico.

Eso sí, el día que ví su transformación para comer otro bicho, me quedé realmente sorprendida. Su cara se multiplicó por siete, y definitivamente me cautivó para siempre.

Las fotos que os dejo hoy son de Indonesia, pero este verano me han prometido diversos tipos en mi nuevo destino, Cabo Verde. Así que ya estoy sacando brillo al objetivo macro!!

Hacía mucho que no podía escribir, y con este post creo que llegaré a las 10.000 visitas. Muchas gracias por seguirme!!










I really like frog fish. It could be because they are so easy to shoot, their slowly but surely walking on the reef, I like the face that always keep disgruntled, like an underwater Mr. Scrooge, give the impression of being either an alien or a prehistoric animal.

But, the day I saw its transformation to eat another critter, I was really surprised. His face grew sevenfold, and definitely captivated me forever.

The photos that I show you today are from Indonesia, but this summer I have received the promise of several kinds in my new destination, Cape Verde. So I'm polishing the macro lens!

It has been a long time without writting, and with this post I'll get to the 10,000 visitors. Thank you very much for following me!

Dive Travel Show, consolidándose - consolidating

Como muchos sabéis, el pasado fin de semana Madrid acogió la 5ª Edición del Dive Travel Show. Mucho dista del primero, realizado en el Intercontinental. El modelo se va consolidando, y este año a mi me ha superado las expectativas que tenía. Enhorabuena a los organizadores y a todos los stands.

Este fin de semana no ha habido agua de por medio, pero ayer me sentía como si hubiera buceado en mil y un destinos. Ahora toca analizar precios, buscar tiempo y ahorrar el dinero y probar alguno de los destinos tan apetecibles que nos han presentado. A pesar que el país invitado era Filipinas, los principales impactos los he recibido de Cabo Verde, un destino poco conocido y muy accesible desde España, Azores con sus avistamientos pelágicos y la tranquilidad que el proyecto Blue Force ofrece tras las últimas noticias de Viajes Iberia. Personalmente, solo puedo dar fe del equipo de Egipto, pero tras ver las alternativas en otros destinos, solo me falta el dinero!!

Por último, y no menos importante, qué gusto ver una oferta tan variada dentro de nuestro país. Somos privilegiados, podemos disfrutar del buceo alrededor de todo nuestro país, pocos pueden decir esto. Tengo debilidad por el Cantábrico, y la presencia de centros de buceo de la zona me sorprendió. Como sabéis, buceo con frecuencia en la isla de Mouro, pero ya hablé con un centro de Hondarribia para no perderme este año la estación de limpieza de los peces luna!!

Este fin de semana requiere más de un post, y eso espero hacer. Ahora solo queda soñar con vacaciones, y nuevos destinos para disfrutar del mar. A revisar folletos!!

As many of you know, last weekend Madrid hosted the 5th edition of Dive Travel Show. Many different from the first, held at the Intercontinental. The model has been consolidated, and this year it exceeded my expectations. Congratulations to the organizers and all stands.

This weekend there has been no water involved, but yesterday I felt like I had a thousand and one dived destinations. Now it is time for analyse prices, find time and save money for trying one of the destinations presented. Although the guest country was the Philippines, the main impacts I have received came from Cape Verde, a little known destination and very accessible from Spain, Azores with pelagic sightings and the peace that the Blue Force project offers after the latest news of Viajes Iberia . Personally, I can only vouch for the Egyptian team, but after seeing the alternatives in other locations, I only need the money!

Last but not least, good to see the variety of offers in our country. We are privileged, we can enjoy diving all over our country, few can say this. I have a thing for the Cantabric Sea, and the presence of dive centers in the area surprised me. As you know, I often dive on the island of Mouro, but I talked to a center Hondarribia not to miss this year's cleaning station ocean sunfish!

This weekend requires more than one post, and I hope to do. Now only dream vacations and new destinations to enjoy the sea. Let's review brochures!

Hola a todos,

después de mucho silencio, vuelvo a la carga con una nueva entrega desde el Mar Rojo. La tranquilidad de estos días de vacaciones me permitirá compartir con vosotros alguna fotito nueva.

Hace viento, pero el agua está siendo muy agradecida. Pocos turistas, así que espero que más opción a ver más vida. Por ahora, estamos disfrutando del coral.

After a long silence, here I am again with new posts from the Red Sea. The peaceful of these days on holidays, will give me some chances to share with you a few photos.

It is windy, but water is being very grateful with us. A few tourist, so more options to find life. For now, we are enjoying corals.

La última inmersión del año - Last dive of the year

Hace mucho que el día a día no me deja ni un minuto para ponerme con el blog, pero desde luego, no podía pasar por alto el día de hoy. Llevamos unos días disfrutando del fresco del Cabo de Gata, y de una cantidad de vida increíble.

La última inmersión del año ha sido hoy en Los Burros, dos piedras "en medio de la nada" que albergan una variedad increíble de pececillos. No se dónde haremos mañana la primera del 2013, pero mi deseo es que los que buceáis disfrutéis de muchas burbujas en el año entrante, que los que os lo estáis pensando, os iniciéis en el buceo y dejéis que esta experiencia os transforme completamente (y si queréis, el curso os lo hago yo!!) y sobre todo que podamos compartir mil y una experiencia en este blog.

It has been a while since the day by day allows me to update the blog, but I could not pass this day. We have been enjoying the cold water of Cabo de Gata, and an unbelievable amount of life.

Last dive of the year has been on "Los Burros", two stones, "in the middle of nowhere" with a huge kind of different fishes. I do not know where we will go tomorrow for the first dive of 2013, but my wish is that the ones who dive, enjoy a lot of bubbles in this new year, and the ones who are thinking about diving, start diving and let this experience transform yourselves completely (and if you want, I can teach you!!), and most of all, that we could share a thousand and one experiences on this blog.
